RETURNING TO THE BASICS

Empowering women to reclaim their experience of motherhood using nurturing foods and lifestyle changes

Your partner in healing–

Your partner in healing–

A person wearing a dark hat with a thin band and a white shirt, with only the back of their head and right shoulder visible, against a plain light gray background.

Given the nature of its work, I couldn't help but see many patient's needs being unaddressed in the hospital setting. I'm talking about crucial pieces of maternal care that are essential for newly postpartum moms. Things like:

  • Nutrition support and advice

  • Pelvic floor support

  • Learning how to ease back into exercise

  • And much, much more

Nutrition is a cornerstone to preconception, pregnancy, labor, recovery, lactation, and motherhood. I created Rooted in Nutrition to fill in the nutritional gap that is missing for women like you and me.

Work with me to build sustainable, healthy habits that will serve you well in motherhood.

Empowering Women, Mothers, and Mothers-To-Be Through Functional Nutrition

Welcome to Rooted in Nutrition, where I empower mothers-to-be and mothers in their infancy years to flourish and thrive by supporting the basic pillars of health:

  • Digestion

  • Blood sugar

  • Hydration

  • A nutrient-dense diet

  • Sleep

  • Movement

  • Stress management

As a mother myself and a practitioner, I noticed when the foundations are in place, the body can live in balance and life is more enjoyable. If you can reduce the external and internal stressors of the body, you can thrive physically and mentally.

Motherhood requires patience, physical strength, and a full cup to meet the needs of littles and the family as a whole. Do yourself a favor and fill your cup so that you can pour into your littles and make a positive eternal impact.

When preventative care is the priority for women's health, we would see an immediate improvement in a multitude of areas:

● Infertility

● Pregnancies

● The birth experience

● Lactation

● Postpartum outcomes

My experience as a nurse has taught me one thing for sure - healthcare is often fragmented. There are so many specialties and sub-specialties that the whole person is often forgotten about. And the body is designed to work as a whole and be seen as a whole.

Rooted in Nutrition sees you for the whole person that you are. I look at your symptoms, and your goals, and put together an individualized protocol specifically for you that centers around the body system as a whole.

EMPOWERMENT

Rooted in Nutrition supports, empowers, and encourages mothers like you to meet your health-related desires in motherhood.

By taking a deeper, holistic approach which includes:

  • Comprehensive analysis

  • A food and mood journal

  • And noninvasive hair tissue mineral analysis (HTMA)
