Hair Tissue Mineral Analysis
The hair tissue mineral analysis measures nutrient levels inside the cell by analyzing individual minerals and their relationship together. This provides an insight into stress, mineral status, metabolic health, and so much more. It’s an easy lab that can be done in your home.

Again, this is the cherry on top of the comprehensive analysis I offer!
An HTMA is a non-invasive lab test (using just a hair sample!) that provides insight into what our cells are doing on the inside. The results come as multiple graphs and it takes a comprehensive analysis to determine what the results could mean. Your metabolic type, stress, history, environment, lifestyle choices, and symptoms are taken into consideration when analyzing the graphs. Unlike blood lab tests, you cannot take these results at face value. For example, when you see low sodium on the chart, it doesn’t mean the person has low sodium within the cell. It means that sodium is not being utilized properly and we need to figure out why this is. A key feature of the HTMA is looking at the single minerals and analyzing them as specific ratios to see what is going on at the cellular level.
Once the deficiencies or imbalances are found using this test, the results provide a clear path moving forward with your personalized protocol.
HTMA findings unveil information regarding stress, hormonal imbalances, digestive dysfunction, and more.
The hair tissue mineral analysis is a unique functional laboratory test that uses just a small amount of hair to gauge mineral and heavy metal content at the cellular level from the last three months.
The nuts and bolts of the comprehensive analysis include a symptom burden graph that is done via a questionnaire that is completed by you throughout your journey. Its main job is to identify any possible imbalances.
During our journey together, we will celebrate wins and successes and adjust as needed to meet your goals.
One of my client’s comparison graphs is displayed here as an example.
Her background and goals: She is a young mother of two who was hoping to increase her energy levels.
Timeline: This graph tracks two months (the blue line is the start of our time together and the orange line is two months later).
Results: As you see in the graph, she had less overall burdened symptoms displayed. This is the goal of the journey! In our follow-up, the client reported having more “energy, happiness and motivation” noticed by her, her husband, and friends.
The plan: She was able to achieve this by focusing on her blood sugar balance, reducing stress where possible, and focusing on replenishing her mineral consumption.
With her commitment, she was able to chip away at her goals and see the positive changes she had desired.
Let’s look at some nutritional assessment questionnaire results
This can be you too!
